The Identitee logo was designed for Mugwumps, Inc, the creators of Identitee. Identitee is a contact card and stick-on pocket that helps parents and lost children reunite.
Identitee is a childrens product that must appeal to both the purchaser (adults) and the user (children), so the mark is meant to be serious, yet playful. It’s shape and color appeal to both boys and girls.
One of the driving forces behind the mark was the need to express an upbeat image. Many of the products within the child safety market focus on scare tactics and grave imagery. This product and the logo illustrate a more pleasant concept…
“Peace of mind”.
This company came to Nyquist Design with piece of paper folder up inside of a UPS label and stuck on a child’s back. Their request was to design the product in such a way that it would be cheap to produce, waterproof, leave no stains or residue on the clothing. Nyquist Design designed the product and partnered with a printer, who helped to source the right materials and production facility.
